Friction is The Spark’s first zine.

We asked artists and storytellers from across campus and the Twin Cities to submit work that resonated with the theme—pieces that challenged, chipped and rubbed against old ideas and preconceived notions. They delivered. The zine’s been on campus for two weeks now, and we wanted to put it online in case you missed it. Check it out below, and email if you want to get involved in our next projects.

Here are some of our favorite pieces that didn’t make it into the paper zine.

Featuring more work from Simon Koda, Malvika Shankar, Kate Garrett, and Stacy Bowen.
